Our Role

As a leading academic unit within the University, the School of Business plays a central role in preparing ethical, innovative, and globally minded leaders. Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values required to thrive in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Through rigorous academic programs, experiential learning opportunities, and impactful research, we bridge theory and practice to ensure our graduates are ready to lead in diverse sectors: corporate, entrepreneurial, public, private, and non-profit organizations across the Globe.

Beyond the classroom, we aspire to foster dialogue between academia and industry. We are committed to advancing knowledge that addresses real-world challenges and contributes meaningfully to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, the AU 2063 Agenda, EAC Vision 2050, and BETA Agenda and the Vision and Mission of Koitaleel Samoei University

2. Accredited as a KASNEB Training Centre for Professional Courses.
3. The continued growth and accreditation of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs by the Commission of University Education (CUE)
4. Growing graduate employability rates and alumni success across different organizations.
5. Strategic partnerships with the industry that enhance Industrial Attachment, and career opportunities for our Students
6. Community outreach initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and sustainable business practices, the most recent being the training of Youth and Women on Business Development services in Nandi Hills.
7. Mentorship of students on employability skills from industry experts like the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, KASNEB, and Standard Chartered Bank

1. Experiential learning through Industrial Attachments, case studies, business simulations, entrepreneurship events, and research projects.
2. Industry-engaged faculty who bring both academic rigor and practical expertise to the classroom.
3. Entrepreneurial focus, supporting innovation through mentorship, incubator programs, and entrepreneurship startup webinars and workshops.
4. Research-focused curriculum that aims at providing solutions to industry problems through the writing of research projects by students

Future Strategic Direction

Looking ahead, we are committed to strengthening our position as a forward-thinking business school. Our strategic priorities include:

1. Launching PhD in Business Administration and PhD in Project Planning and Management
2. Launching more Undergraduate and Master’s Programs to respond to the emerging needs of the marketplace
3. Strengthening Blended learning through the Learning Management System
4. Increasing research impact in areas such as digital transformation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and cross-cutting issues
5. Deepening industry partnerships to co-create programs and applied research.
6. Enhancing internationalization through global partnerships and mobility opportunities.
7. Building an Innovation and Business Incubation Centre
