This activity was undertaken to fulfil the government directive and vision that by 2032, 15 billion trees would have been planted country wide. As an institution that cares and understands the importance of trees, we engaged in planting more trees as it supports biodiversity.

Planting trees brings is a solution to climate change and so KSUC participated in a very important activity which it’s impacts will be felt for generation to come leaving an important lesson to the community around Nandi hills and its environs.

There was also need to encourage the participants by ensuring that trees planted needed to be taken care of so as not to lose them to grazing animals or other human activities such as farming and logging.

Ksuc as an institution assured the community that will not be moved to any other location as it is an important landmark in the Nandi Region urging the community to support the opening of the University for enrollment of students, this will be beneficial to both the community and other regions to have an institution near proximity to their homes thus reducing the financial burden on parents of having to send their children far.

Koitaleel Samoei University College not only focuses on education but goes out of its way to extend knowledge on importance of environmental management to help strike between greenhouse gases and a sustainable environment.

Let us plant trees for a sustainable environment.
