Message from the Dean
The Division of Student Affairs at Koitaleel Samoei University College is dedicated to
supporting students throughout their university life. Our goal is to promote student welfare and
holistic development in line with the University College’s vision, mission, and core values, while
creating an environment that encourages academic success, personal growth, discipline, and
responsible citizenship.
Student life goes beyond the classroom, and our office is here to support you in all aspects of
your journey. We coordinate a wide range of services including guidance and counselling,
accommodation and welfare support, health and wellness services, sports and games, clubs and
societies, leadership development, and co-curricular activities. These services are designed to
respond to students’ academic, social, emotional, and personal needs.
We work closely with academic departments, administrative units, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure that every student is supported from admission to graduation. In doing so, we emphasize respect for university rules and regulations, integrity, mutual respect, and the
creation of a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Office works collaboratively with academic departments, administrative units, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to respond to student needs and provide timely support. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their conduct, actively engage in university programmes, and make full use of the services offered by the Division of Student Affairs. The Office of the Dean of Students remains committed to listening, supporting, and working with students to ensure their well-being and success at Koitaleel Samoei University College.

Its vision is to nurture well-rounded, responsible, and socially conscious graduates equipped with strong values, leadership skills, and the ability to contribute positively to society. New students are encouraged to make full use of the available support services as they transition into university life, while
continuing students are urged to remain engaged, uphold university values, and take responsibility for their personal and academic growth.
Role and Mandate of the Office of Student Welfare Services
The Office of Student Welfare Services at Koitaleel Samoei University College exists to support students’ well-being, safety, and personal growth throughout their time at the University College. Our aim is to ensure that students have the support they need to succeed academically and enjoy a positive university experience.
The Office coordinates key welfare services including guidance and counselling, accommodation and welfare support, health and wellness services, and referrals where additional help is needed.
We also work to create a safe, inclusive, and caring learning environment by promoting responsible behaviour, mutual respect, and adherence to university policies.
Working closely with other university departments and stakeholders, the Office of Student Welfare Services is committed to listening to students, responding to their needs, and supporting their development from admission to graduation.

Assistance with student welfare matters, on-campus and off-campus accommodation coordination, and general student support.
Sports, Games, and Recreation
Support and coordination of sports and recreational activities to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and talent development.
Clubs, Societies, and Student Activities
Oversight and support of student clubs and societies to encourage leadership, creativity, and community engagement.
Special Needs and Inclusive Support
Assistance for students with special needs to ensure access, inclusion, and equal participation in university life.
Student Leadership and Governance
Support for student leadership structures, student representation, and leadership development programmes.
