The Office of the Registrar, Academic Affairs is responsible for the effective management of all academic operations. This includes student admissions, maintenance of student records, implementation of academic policies, coordination of examinations, issuance of transcripts and certificates, and oversight of curriculum delivery. The office acts as the official custodian of student academic data and ensures strict adherence to university academic regulations.

Cs Ngigi holds a Master’s degree in Education Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts), both from the University of Nairobi. He is a Certified Public Secretary, an accredited Governance Auditor, and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya. He has also undertaken advanced training in management, including the Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP).

With over a decade of progressive experience in university administration, Cs Ngigi brings deep expertise to his role. Prior to his appointment as Registrar Academic Affairs, he served as Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs at Koitaleel Samoei University College and held senior positions, including Senior Assistant Registrar and Assistant Registrar, in other public universities in Kenya.

His strong background in academic administration, governance, and strategic leadership continues to strengthen the quality and integrity of academic processes at the University College.
